Veneers, implants, Invisalign, and full-mouth restorations are rarely fully covered by insurance — and for a lot of patients, that's the only thing standing between them and treatment they actually want. Bright Smile Design works with five financing partners so you can find a plan that fits your budget across all of our offices: Brooklyn, Manhattan, Howell, and Red Bank.
Paying for Dental Care Shouldn't Be the Hard Part
-
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card accepted at dental offices, vision centers, and other medical providers nationwide — not just at Bright Smile Design. It works like a credit card dedicated to healthcare expenses, with promotional financing periods (commonly 6, 12, 18, or 24 months) where no interest is charged if the full balance is paid within that window.

Good fit if: you want a reusable line of credit you can use for future dental or medical expenses too, not just this treatment.
Cherry is a point-of-sale financing option built specifically for elective procedures like cosmetic dentistry. Approval is typically fast — often within minutes — and Cherry offers a range of monthly payment plans depending on your credit profile.
Good fit if: you want a quick approval process at the time of your consultation without a hard credit check up front.
Sunbit is another point-of-sale financing option that's built to work with a wider range of credit histories than traditional financing, including patients with limited or fair credit. Checking your rate through Sunbit does not affect your credit score.
Good fit if: you're not sure you'd qualify for traditional financing and want to check your options without any credit impact.
Health Finance Direct specializes in financing for elective and cosmetic healthcare procedures, including larger treatment plans like full-mouth implants or extensive veneer cases. HFD is often used for treatment amounts that exceed what other point-of-sale options are set up to handle.
Good fit if: your treatment plan is larger in scope — full-arch implants, a full smile makeover — and you want financing built for bigger cases.
Proceed Finance specializes in financing for elective medical and dental procedures, with plans built for larger treatment amounts. It's often used alongside or as an alternative to HFD for bigger cases, giving patients a second option specifically suited to higher-cost treatment plans.
Good fit if: you want to compare more than one large-treatment-plan lender before deciding, or HFD's terms don't end up being the best fit for your case.
How to Apply
-
Get your treatment plan and cost estimate at your consultation — financing decisions are easier once you know the actual number.
-
Ask your treatment coordinator which option fits. They can walk you through all four side by side based on your treatment amount and preferences.
-
Apply on-site or from home. Most applications take a few minutes and give you a decision the same day.
-
Choose your plan and begin treatment once you're approved — financing can typically be finalized before your next visit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Financing Options
Does applying for financing hurt my credit score?
It depends on the provider. Sunbit and Cherry typically use a soft check that doesn't affect your score to see your options; CareCredit involves a standard credit application, which is a hard inquiry. Ask your treatment coordinator which applies before you apply.
Can I combine financing with my dental insurance?
Yes — financing is meant to cover the portion insurance doesn't, not replace it. We'll apply your insurance benefit first, then help you finance the remaining balance.
What if I'm not approved for one option?
We offer four different partners specifically because approval odds vary by provider and credit profile. If one doesn't work out, we'll help you check another before assuming financing isn't an option.
Do all four locations offer the same financing options?
Yes — CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit, Health Finance Direct, and Proceed Finance are all available at our Brooklyn, Manhattan, Howell, and Red Bank offices.
Is there a minimum treatment cost to qualify for financing?
This varies by provider — ask your treatment coordinator which option fits both your treatment cost and preferred monthly payment.
